SCRIPTURE TEXT: PSALM 44:1-8
In today’s passage we can clearly see that God was the one behind all the successes the Israelites had in the past. (Read vrs 3-4).
What does this text teach us about God?
To what extent is our human strength?
Note that our human strength is limited. And God is all powerful and he defends his people- The Israelites did not win the battle by their own power; it was by the power and strength and assurance of God’s presence.
Question of the day: Are there some past victories you need to thank God for?
Meditation 🧘♀️: Read Psalm 127:1
Prayer: God, we are thankful for today and our lives. We are grateful for the hidden battles you fight for us. May we never take the glory that belong to you.

God wants us to rely on ourselves and not to be lazy. After all Sloth is one of the 7 deadly sins. But, when we are fatigued God is always there for us to lean on. And as the bible passage promises: “I can do all things in him that strengtheneth me.” – Philippians 4:13
