Scripture text: Revelation 6:12-17
As John saw the unveiling of this fearful inspiring event of the sixth seal he must have been shaken to the core of his being.
Question: What happened to the Earth, sun, moon, stars, sky, mountains and Island in vrs 12-14?
What does this text teach us about the power of God over nature and the universe? READ VRS 15-16 again.
Who are the categories of people mentioned and why are they calling on mountains and rocks to fall on them?
Vrs 17 declares that this event marks the great day of God’s Judgement and no one will escape it. The only way to escape the coming wrath of God is : commit to God’s Word and will, be baptised (immersion of water), repent and confess of our sins, and be teachable Christians not forsaking the assembly of the saints.
