Scripture text: Matthew 13: 24-33
Observe that the type of weed that Jesus talked about in this passage is like the wheat (vrs 29). This is a picture of the church on earth. Sometimes it can be very difficult to tell the difference between those who are true Christians ✝️ and those who are not.
Those who have been baptised in Christ (immersion in water 💧 not the sprinkling method or any other). Those who do the will of God according to what scripture says ( not what false “prophets” are saying to their members). Those who belong to the Lord’s church.
What are the two groups mentioned in the text? (WHEAT AND WEED).
But God is confident that if you are born of imperishable seed (1 Peter 1:23), you cannot be corrupted by the weeds. Harvest time is coming soon, when the weed and wheat shall be separated (vrs 30).
Are we wheat or weed? Take note of how we should treasure the word of God in our ❤ heart (vrs 31-32).

The wheats are those those following the steps of Christ, doing what is good. The weeds as those going contrary to the will of God. These are the ones living their love like there’s no God.
God will surely take his own at the end.
Lord, I thank you for your protection throughout the night. Please help me to live a life that clearly shows I am a child of your Kingdom. 🙏 🙏 AMEN.
